The Site Director is responsible for overall manufacturing plant execution to achieve KPI indicators like SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost). Establishes the strategy to deploy the company culture to achieve the highest standards on Safety and VoE to ensure world-class quality and service levels at the facility.
• Oversees all assembly and production operations at a single site.
• Develops and works to achieve plant specific goals and budgets.
• Manages the attainment of production goals and KPI’s including production goals, strategic initiatives, headcount and quality standard.
• Assesses the site for inefficiencies and addresses through the continuous improvement of current and potential processes, methods, etc.
• Evaluates, adjusts and manages workforce planning/ staffing levels based on customer insights, orders and site demand.
• Provides training to all new and existing employees to ensure proper operation of equipment and understanding of processes and procedures.
• Ensures adherence to all quality standard operating procedures through collaboration with the quality team to identify and mitigate quality risk factors.
• Safety & Environment: Under limited supervision, develops, plans, coordinates and manages Facility safety & environmental programs, including the management and implementation of those programs to ensure the safety of facility’s physical environment for employees, contractor and visitors, and to ensure compliance with applicable company policies and local, and government regulations.
• Responsible for the Plant Security.
• Quality: Ensure full compliance to Medical Regulations.
• Remove production constraints; allocate human and equipment resources and direct production employees to attain all established goals.
• Provide leadership for the successful day-to-day operation of the facility.
• Monitor operation expenses and research ways to reduce costs while maintaining product quality and customer service.
• Provide leadership for Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Encourage and promote operating in a continuous improvement environment.
• Work closely with quality personnel to review product consistency while monitoring scrap rates to determine trends and areas of improvement. Ensure compliance to all regulatory requirements.
• Review established production schedules for all manufacturing departments to ensure established inventory levels are met while operating at the highest efficiency possible.
• Maintain Inventory levels and control flow of product from our plant to the customers.
• Develop and execute the plant manufacturing budgets.
• Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Management/Operations/E
