The Category Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing category strategies, driving savings initiatives, and managing supplier relationships to optimize procurement processes.

หน้าที่รับผิดชอบ

• Sets up yearly initiative implementation plans including project timelines and savings estimations
• Develop internal profile, external market profile, voice of suppliers, and cost structure to develop category strategy
• Drives key savings initiatives and savings implementation to execute corporate/project-specific procurement initiatives
• Leads market interventions such as market screenings (RFI), tenders (RFQ) and concept competitions (RFP)
• Conducts supplier and market analyses (e.g. to assist in make-or-buy decisions)
• Establishes negotiation strategies and leads or assists negotiations
• Prepares awarding scenarios/recommendations and works out price agreements or frame contracts
• Monitor contract and buying channel compliance
• Maintains initiatives in PMO tracking tool and reports cost savings, initiative progress, and KPIs to Head of Procurement
• Relationship management and development of key suppliers
• Executes supplier audits on a local plant level with auditors

คุณสมบัติ

• Degree in any related fields
• Master in Business Administration, certifications in procurement and supply chain preferred
• Min 5 years of experience in procurement and related domains
• Advanced project management skills and capability to successfully work in cross-functional teams
• Experience in conducting strategic sourcing activities, leading projects, and challenging status quo with business stakeholders and suppliers
• Strong analytical skills and negotiation capabilities
• Supply market knowledge (e.g. market structure insights)
• Deep understanding of proc. cost drivers and levers
• Supplier development capabilities
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• Good presentation skills
