The Government Relation Specialist is responsible for monitoring legislation and regulations, advocating for the organization’s interests, and building relationships with government officials.

• Monitor and analyze legislation, policies, and regulations that may affect the organization.
• Provide insights and recommendations to the organization’s leadership.
• Advocate for the organization’s interests to policymakers and government officials.
• Participate in or lead lobbying efforts to influence legislation and regulations.
• Build and maintain relationships with government officials, agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Organize meetings, events, and briefings with policymakers to communicate the organization’s perspective.
• Ensure the organization complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide guidance on adapting to regulatory changes.
• Draft position papers, policy briefs, and other communications for government and public stakeholders.
• Act as a spokesperson or liaison between the organization and government entities.
• Address issues that arise in interactions with government agencies, such as disputes or compliance matters.
• Develop strategies to manage regulatory risks.

คุณสมบัติ

• Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Law, Communications.
• Prior roles in government agencies, public relations, or corporate government affairs.
• Experience in working with government officials is highly valued.
• Familiarity with the laws and regulations that impact the organization’s sector.
• A strong professional network with policymakers and government officials.
• Adherence to ethical practices and transparency in lobbying and advocacy.
• Knowledge of tools for data analysis, presentation, and tracking legislative developments.
• Familiarity with legislative and regulatory systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to present the organization’s position effectively.
• Expertise in evaluating policies, understanding their implications, and providing strategic advice.
• Proficient in building and maintaining professional relationships with government officials and policymakers.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
