The Mechanic position requires a candidate with experience in ship engine maintenance and repair. The candidate must be willing to be placed in Kendari.

หน้าที่รับผิดชอบ

• Responsible for maintenance, repair, and overhaul of all ship equipment for diesel engines, gensets, gearboxes, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, pumps, workshop equipment, and other equipment
• Coordinate with mechanical supervisor, technical superintendent, and procurement team to prepare orders and ensure tools and spare parts received for maintenance, repair, and overhaul
• Coordinate with internal and external parties involved in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul process
• Prepare and create overhaul reports including clearance measurement data, work steps, and other technical data for the work done
• Record or report each damage of each ship unit in a logbook to know the history of the unit as a reference for future repairs
• Create daily activity sheets, create a list of inventory of work equipment and spare parts that have been used and unused to be reported and be accountable to superiors regularly
• Provide input for the development of the Plan Management System (PMS) on the ship and join the team in analyzing the root causes of damage to prevent the same damage from recurring
• Perform other tasks assigned by the mechanic supervisor, port engineer, and technical superintendent
• Create JSA (Jobs Safety Analysis) for work that is done for the first time
• Implement Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) programs to control HSE risks

• SMK/ STM / D3 Teknik Perkapalan
• Experienced as a Mechanic Helper (min 5 years) / 2 years in the same position in a shipping company or shipyard
• Understand ship engines and able to perform Overhauls on ship engines
• Willing to be placed in Kendari
