The Senior Commodity Specialist is responsible for sourcing Electro-Mechanical/Mechanical components, performing cost analysis, managing supplier relationships, and implementing supply management strategies to support new projects and achieve cost reduction targets.

หน้าที่รับผิดชอบ

• To source for Electro-Mechanical/Mechanical components to support new projects
• To be able to perform cost analysis and select best supplier to meet the product requirement
• To be responsible in managing the relationship with suppliers on all commercial issues
• To perform cost reduction, VA/VE activities, etc to achieve the KPIs set by the management (eg: the material cost reduction target)
• To be able to implement supply management strategies and activities such as VMI, JIT, EDI capabilities etc
• To be the escalation point when there is delivery issues during the MP and NPI stages
• Management of SAP data integrity

คุณสมบัติ

• At least 5 years of working experience in the EMS or an MNC environment
• Good supply base knowledge with strong mechanical background, supplier selection, sourcing of mechanical parts, etc.
• Experience should include electro-mechanical commodities such as plastic/cables, connectors, modules, PCBs, etc especially in the Indonesian market.
• Knowledge in SAP is an added advantage.
• Familiarity of Microsoft Office is a pre-requisite.
• Good problem-solving skills is an added asset.
