The Research & Development Specialist will play a pivotal role in product development by leading material sourcing, supplier communication, and product quality control efforts.

• Material sourcing and supplier communication: Spearhead the sourcing of materials and maintain effective communication with suppliers. Evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate pricing and purchase terms, ensuring a consistent supply of raw materials aligned with production schedules.
• Product quality control: Implement rigorous quality standards and procedures. Identify and resolve quality issues, generate quality reports for management, and update the Product Knowledge Handbook.
• Innovation in Product Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align material options with product designs based on the purposed Unique Selling Proposition (USP). Constantly innovate to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Material Science, or related fields. Advanced degree or certification in product development or R&D is preferred.
• 3-5 years in product development or research and development (R&D), with expertise in material sourcing, supplier management, and product quality control.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and regulatory requirements in relevant industries.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, project management, and team collaboration skills, with a proactive and innovative mindset.
