The Footwear Development & Analysis Manager will be responsible for leading the entire footwear development lifecycle for sandals, collaborating with design teams, conducting market research, targeting specific market segments, analyzing competitors, managing budgets and pricing strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring quality control.

• Design Collaboration: Work closely with design teams to create innovative and commercially viable sandal designs that resonate with target markets.
• Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research to uncover trends, consumer preferences, and competitor strategies, using these insights to inform footwear and marketing strategies.
• Target Market Focus: Define and target specific market segments, particularly focusing on college students and other relevant demographics. Tailor sandal designs to meet the unique preferences of these groups.
• Competitor Analysis: Regularly analyze competitor products, pricing, and market positioning to identify opportunities for differentiation and market leadership.
• Budgeting and Pricing: Develop and manage budgets for footwear development initiatives, implementing pricing strategies that ensure both competitive positioning and profitability.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, sales, production, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful footwear launches, clear communication, and strategic alignment.
• Quality Control: Partner with quality control teams to guarantee that all sandals meet design specifications, quality standards, and consumer expectations.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Fashion Design, Footwear Development, or Business.
• Minimum of 3 years in footwear development and management, specifically within the footwear or fashion industry, with a strong emphasis on sandals.
• Demonstrated success in leading footwear launches and achieving market penetration in the footwear sector.
• Deep understanding of current and emerging trends in the footwear industry, particularly sandals, including consumer preferences and competitor strategies.
• Proven experience in conducting detailed market research to identify emerging trends, consumer behaviors, and competitor movements.
• Strong creative and design sensibility with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with design teams to bring innovative sandal concepts to market.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans for footwear development, market positioning, and targeting specific demographics.
• Skilled in identifying market gaps, consumer needs, and capitalizing on opportunities within the sandals market.
• Proficient in budgeting, cost analysis, and pricing strategies, with experience managing Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) to ensure profitability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and strategies effectively to cross-functional teams.
