The Manager - Sales oversees sales activities of the designated region/country and manages the designated Sales team to reach agreed turnover and profit objectives so that the organization can grow in terms of sales and profits and can reach the desired market position within the scope of the mid- and long term strategy as defined by the management.
• Manage and control the sales team, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, work allocation, conflict resolution and termination and manage all sales activities in the designated region/country.
• Plan, negotiate, agree and control the annual sales budget for the designated region in order to achieve sales turnover and gross-profit targets. Negotiate regular and spot business opportunities for the responsible area.
• Build up and maintain a good business relationship between Omron and (potential) customers in the designated area.
• Develop a strategic long term, midterm and annual business plan in order to achieve sales and profits targets.
• Manage annual sales promotions and special sales campaigns for the responsible region in co-ordination with Marketing and Business Development.
• Execute, monitor evaluate and adjust region business plans.
• Ensure to maintain and grow the Market share for Omron Healthcare brands in the responsible area.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in distributor management / direct and indirect medical sales experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of people management within a sales environment.
• Negotiation Skills.
• Proficient in the English language, both written and verbal.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
