The Senior Regulatory Affairs Analyst, Global Scientific & Regulatory Affairs, APAC is responsible for conducting regulatory assessments to enable and support the growth of the Ingredion portfolio, particularly in the ASEAN and Indonesia regions.

หน้าที่รับผิดชอบ

• Regulatory Assessment & Guidance – Advise on applicable regulations & provide regulatory guidance with possible interpretation and regulatory pathways for product formula design, raw materials & end products. Steer product registrations in target markets in the region.
• External Regulatory Engagements – Serve as a regional/local regulatory lead and point of contact with regulatory authorities for products to address any regional regulatory concerns. Where needed, represent company interests in local trade associations to positively influence industry positions & future legislation to affect benefit to the business.
• Horizon Scanning - Actively monitor, identify, and communicate relevant regulatory opportunities, insights on relevant regulations, including proposed, draft, and final legislations.
• Regulatory Systems & Tools - Manage regulatory programs within the assigned business portfolio by reviewing regulatory requirements for new & existing products. Lead regulatory input to the development of integrated processes/IT systems/regulatory tools.

คุณสมบัติ

• Relevant degree and/or postgraduate in Food Science/Chemistry/Biochemistry/Applied Sciences
• Minimum 4 years work experience in regional & local regulatory affairs in food ingredients (e.g: sweeteners, flavours, food additive blends) & non-food (e.g. cosmetic, home & beauty, pet food, industrial starch, etc).
• Familiarity with ingredients/additives, including blends (food/non-food) regulatory landscape and market trends.
• Strong track record and technically savvy in external engagement and Regulatory Affairs function, able to provide expertise and guidance on product submissions with relevant authorities.
• Bahasa Indonesia, English fluency, both written and spoken.
• Familiar with EU regulations would be advantageous.
• Familiar and understanding of APAC regulatory requirements including SEA regulations & Codex standards would be an added advantage.
• Strong communicator with inter-personal & negotiation skills particularly in a multi-cultural environment.
• Excellent planning, prioritisation, and organisational skills.
• Strong at building relationships with both team members and other business departments and experience of working with global & regional cross-functional teams.
