Senior Manager / Manager - Regional EHS

หน้าที่รับผิดชอบ
• Developing sustainable EHS programs to meet BASF Responsible Care® (RC) requirements, BASF regional EHS requirements and country/local EHS legal requirements; that means, in collaboration with various site stakeholders and EHS colleagues, develop programs to enable EHS legal compliance and support sustainable EHS excellence. Assist site stakeholders with the implementation and maintenance of EHS programs, focusing on RC Audit compliance, continuous improvement, and efficiency.
• Preparing for RC audits (BASF sites and tollers) by performing site EHS assessments and inspections; Support EHS Managers for Limited Risk Site Assessment in APAC region.
• EHS reporting (BASF and regulatory); EHS Incident Management & Performance Reporting – Gather, analyze, and submit accurate EHS data on time and in full using BASF electronic tools and databases. Conduct incident investigations and root cause analyses as required. Support preparation of EHS reports and One Pagers as required.
• EHS training – In collaboration with various site stakeholders and EHS colleagues, develop and deliver EHS-specific training. Utilize the ‘train the trainer’ approach as appropriate.
• Participation & facilitation in EHS committees (AP internal, BASF).
• Knowledge transfer within AP EHS community; identify and replicate potential best practice in own site and contract manufacturers in the region/globally. Share best practice concept with other regions in AP.
• Site Visits – visit sites on a regular basis to observe work activities, assess EHS conditions and engage with stakeholders regarding EHS performance. Observe work practices to identify safe and at-risk behaviors (e.g., behavior-based safety).
• EHS Expertise & Technical Support - Assist site stakeholders in identifying, assessing and managing EHS risk through participation in Management of Change reviews, Clean Sheet Reviews (HAZOP studies) and Capital Project reviews. Perform/facilitate Risk Assessments for major activities at sites and incorporate sustainable EHS risk mitigation measures into work practices.
• EHS support of contract manufacturers independently together with regional/global technology.
• Communicate any regulation changes to relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with local regulations.
คุณสมบัติ
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture or EHS.
• Professional certification a plus.
• 5 years providing EHS services to multiple sites.
• 5 years experience working with corporate EHS functions.
• EHS Data Management skills – use of electronic tools and databases to report EHS information.
• Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis skills and knowledge.
