• Monitor and control the costs associated with manufacturing, trucking, and heavy equipment operations.
• Ensure accurate allocation of costs to the appropriate departments, projects, and cost centers.
• Analyze material, labor, overhead, and other operational costs to identify inefficiencies or potential savings.
• Prepare detailed cost reports and present findings to management, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports to assess the company's financial performance.
• Assist in the preparation of cost forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term cost projections.
• Collaborate with department heads to prepare and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
• Provide insights and recommendations for cost optimization and resource allocation.
• Review budget variances and support corrective action plans with management.
• Perform cost-benefit analysis to support management decisions on procurement, equipment acquisition, and other key investments.
• Assist in the evaluation of project costs, ensuring that project budgets align with cost expectations.
• Conduct profitability analysis for various projects and contracts, advising on cost-effective practices and improvements.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper accounting of raw materials, finished goods, and work-in-progress.
• Track and report on depreciation, maintenance, and repair costs for heavy equipment and machinery.
• Work closely with the procurement and supply chain departments to manage inventory costs efficiently.
• Implement and enforce strong internal controls to prevent cost overruns, fraud, and mismanagement.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and local regulations related to cost control and financial reporting.
• Conduct periodic audits and reviews to ensure proper cost allocation and financial integrity.
• Work closely with production, operations, procurement, and logistics teams to gather cost data and provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and cost reconciliation.
• Participate in project planning and cost estimation to ensure projects are financially viable and within budget.

• Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in cost control, financial analysis, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, logistics, and heavy equipment industries is a plus.
