The Operations Controller will be based at the wind farm site in Nakhon Ratchasima and Chaiyaphum provinces, responsible for managing site operations, ensuring compliance with safety and legal standards, and serving as the primary contact for emergency services and contractors.

Kewajiban

• Being the first point of contact and liaison for emergency services, contractors, Electricity Generation Authority of Thailand (EGAT) or Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) and visitors to site.
• Follow and manage emergency response procedures.
• Maintain a shift log of all activities.
• Managing and coordinating site inductions and site access control.
• Ensuring the compliance to legal, HSE Policy, Site Rules and Environmental Management System or relevant procedure and ensuring that contractors and subcontractors comply with their own requirements.
• Confirm Risk Assessment (RA), Method Statement (MS), Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and other documents e.g. Permit To Work (PTW), Switching Order are provided as per the procedure before allowing any parties to commencing the work on site so that to ensure safely working or safely carrying out all activities in the wind farm site.
• Transferring control of the site to WTG contractor.
• Release control of work area to other contractors where applicable.
• Manage site access for all authorized personnel.
• Monitoring of Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) SCADA and other relevant monitoring Software related to the WTG and highlighting all issues to the Operations Manager.
• Monitoring of Substation SCADA alarms and CCTV and highlighting all issues to the Site Operations & Maintenance Manager.
• All longtime WTG stopped or critical alarm to be notified to the relevant Operations Manager or relevant WTG contractor for action.
• Issue of Daily Report or other routine reports are assigned by the Site Operations & Maintenance Manager or the Employer.
• Create events in the Event Management System and update them as relevant.
• Reviewing reports and ensuring they are filed correctly in the document control system.
• Support ad-hoc works as assigned by Site Operations & Maintenance Manager or Employer, Co-ordinate shift handover by checking the status and completion of the schedule and engineering activities, the availability of resources required for the shift, compiling relevant documentation and reports, and communicating these to team members of the crew for the next shift.
• Review the Shift Schedule together with the transfer shift at the beginning of the shift and make the required updates in the log. And update schedule or activities before transfer to another shift.

Kualifikasi

• Good organizational and analytic skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Able to in written and spoken skills in English.
• Fluent in Thai.
• Computer expertise in MS Office, Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel; familiarity with Microsoft Project, Access and web-savvy is a plus.
• Substation or Wind farm working experience would be advantageous.
• Self-driven and able to work without supervision.
• Ability to cope under pressure and methodically handle emergency situations.
• Able to work as shift roster, day and night as designed by the Employer.
