At Western Digital, the Principal Engineer, Product Design Engineering will play a crucial role in addressing contamination failures and improving factory processes, contributing to the company's mission of powering global innovation.

Kewajiban

• Work with teardown failure analysis to review potential root-cause of contamination failure from Drive failure mode such as quality test, OQA trigger, drive yield, Customer and filed return.
• Provide corrective action for factory contamination improvement & effectiveness validation.
• Provide monthly continuous improvement process, and support to Customer requirement together with customer factory engineering team.
• Work with factory qualify engineer and consolidate all improvements from component supplier, and factory process.
• Support quality dppm improvement in term of contamination related issue.

Kualifikasi

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Material science Engineer or any related field.
• At least 7 years of related experience in contamination/ Lab analytical/ Cleanliness control or any related.
• Good contamination knowledge/ 4IR skill/ Analytical skill.
• Good communication in English language (Writing/Speaking).
• English communication skills.
• Have presentation skills.
• Problem solving and analytical skills.
