UNESCO, the UN's Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization, fosters peace through global cooperation in education, science, and culture. The UN Volunteer (UNV) will support the Inclusive and Equitable Learning Team in promoting equity in education, focusing on marginalized groups such as out-of-school children, youth, migrants, and displaced persons.

Kewajiban

Project Implementation:
• Support the “Regional Promotion of Equitable Education through Innovations” project:
• Assist with activities for out-of-school children, youth, and marginalized groups.
• Conduct research and desk reviews on equity in education.
• Curate and share updates on innovative learning programs for disadvantaged groups with stakeholders.
• Maintain and update the EquityEdHub website, coordinating with the IT team.
• Assist in coordinating, monitoring, and reporting project activities, including background research and logistical support.
• Organize international/regional conferences, webinars, and trainings with the Equitable Education Alliance (EEA).

Partnership and Knowledge Management:
• Assist with communications and coordination with EEA members and stakeholders.
• Prepare presentations, abstracts, and advocacy materials on education equity and inclusion.
• Support project communications and outreach to highlight activities and achievements.
• Organize and manage knowledge resources in education.

UN Volunteer Contributions:
• Engage with UNV activities, including International Volunteer Day events.
• Reflect on and promote volunteerism, including traditional/local forms.
• Write and contribute articles for UNV publications.
• Support the UNV Buddy Programme and promote online volunteering initiatives.

Kualifikasi

• 3 years experience in education project implementation, coordination, and monitoring
• Master degree or equivalent in Social Science, Education, Administration or related field
• Fluency in English and working knowledge in Thai is desirable
