The Quality Control Chemist is responsible for performing quality control testing of raw materials, in-process batches, and finished products to ensure compliance with Troy Siam's quality standards.

Kewajiban

• Analyzing all raw materials as per raw material specifications and sampling plan.
• Retest Aged Raw material and re-identify material status - making lab batch if needed.
• Crosscheck raw material identification at warehouse both new coming and re-testing material.
• Analyzing and adjusting in-process batches per QC adjustment procedure.
• Preparing of lab reagent solution, standard solution. Re-standardize of expired/nearly expired solution and dispose of the unusable lab reagent/solution.
• Perform lab instrument calibration, daily check, preventive maintenance and identify calibration status.
• Maintaining samples in retain sample room.
• Initiate the out-of-spec investigation for NC batch, i.e. review lab result/calculation and retest sample (if necessary). And walk through the production process and batch card.
• Analyzing Final products batches per product specification.
• Maintaining QC records and other related documents per Quality system.
• Follow corporate safety policies / guidelines.
• Proactively observe and report all incidents including spills and unsafe situations.
• Performing all other duties as assigned.

Kualifikasi

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, or related science and 3-5 years experiences in a similar position in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of and experience with Instrumentation, wet chemical analysis and ISO.
