Join Our Team as a Product Engineering Specialist in the multinational Furniture Industry! Are you detail-oriented, experienced, and ready to develop top-notch quality in every piece? We're seeking graduates from Furniture Engineering with 2+ years of product development experience. If you're ready to travel, provide solutions, and supervise with excellence, apply now!
Kewajiban
• Sample technical review
• Review the detailed product & packaging construction for new product development and existing collections according to complete technical documents.
• Optimize the construction of existing products based on Tikamoon quality requirements and cost specifications.
• Collect all key information regarding the product based on CSR and quality needs (MSDS, electricity consumption, material waste rate, etc.)
• Ensure product compliance in accordance with regulations and standards in force on the markets where Tikamoon sells products.
• Complete the final sample report as per Tikamoon template.
• Support the team on the Bill of Material management.
• Supplier support & monitoring of product development projects
• Support the supplier on the whole development stage, including the final sample review.
• Monitor the progress of projects with each supplier on a weekly basis and report to Tikamoon head office.
• To organize the pre-production meeting / pre-serial test with the supplier team.
• In case of a required laboratory test, follow up with the laboratory, from booking to the collection of the test report.
Kualifikasi
• Technical skills:
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in the wooden furniture industry is a must.
• Capability to interpret the specifications on new product development from our collection and product engineering teams (technical specifications, product usage, price level)
• Experience in packaging design and testing (ISTA 3)
• Strong capacity of communication and reporting with suppliers and managers.
• Proficiency in English at a business level is a must.
• Microsoft Excel advanced level.
• Cross-disciplinary skills and qualities required:
• Multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal teams and suppliers.
• Attention to detail to ensure that products meet Tikamoon’s Quality Standards.
• Exceptional time and project management skills.
• Exceptional communication abilities with colleagues and technicians in supplier’s factory.
