The Siam Gypsum Industry (SGI) or “Elephant Gypsum Board” was established in July 1982 to manufacture and supply gypsum wall and ceiling solutions. It categorizes Elephant Gypsum Board products into 6 categories: gypsum boards, gypsum tiles, metal profiles, gypsum compounds, gypsum partition systems, and accessories for walls and ceilings. In 2021, Elephant Gypsum Board changed its main shareholders and entered into a joint venture with Knauf, the world's leading building materials company, and Siam Cement Group (SCG), the leading innovative construction materials and chemicals company in Thailand.
Elephant Gypsum Board currently operates three factories and has a production capacity of more than 100 million square meters of gypsum boards per year, allowing it to meet the needs of customers throughout the country, including customers in more than 28 countries. The factory is located in SIL Industrial Estate, which has two factories in Saraburi province and one in Southern Industrial Estate Chalung in Songkhla, with the head office in Bangkok. As a CI & Sustainability Engineer, you'll lead the development and execution of impactful policies and initiatives aligned with our company's objectives. Utilize your expertise in research and stakeholder engagement to promote sustainable practices, manage projects efficiently, monitor compliance, and prepare reports. Collaborate with marketing teams, manage budgets, and stay updated on industry trends while ensuring effective plant meetings and problem-solving. Kewajiban
• Develop and implement sustainability policies, programs, and initiatives aligned with company goals.
• Conduct research to identify opportunities for improving environmental, social, and governance performance.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainable business practices.
• Manage sustainability projects, including planning, timelines, and deliverables.
• Monitor compliance with sustainability standards and regulations.
• Prepare sustainability performance reports for the Manufacturing Director.
• Serve as a resource on sustainability issues for employees, customers, and stakeholders.
• Develop and manage budgets for sustainability programs.
• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote sustainability efforts.
• Stay updated on sustainability developments and share relevant information with employees.
• Participate in industry associations and professional networks focused on sustainability.
• Ensure effective daily meetings in plants for targets, priorities, and performance.
• Facilitate problem-solving and implement effective root cause analysis systems in all plants.
• Enforce layered audit systems (5S, Process Verification, Safety Observation).
• Support the implementation of good practices and standard work (procedures, work instructions).
• Support visual tracking of SQDC KPIs and cascade throughout the plant, including OEE.
Kualifikasi
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, sustainability, or a related field.
• Over 3 years of experience in Continuous Improvement or Sustainability or a related field, including significant involvement in operations at a continuous process plant for at least 2 years.
• Strong project management skills.
• Proficient in research and writing.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication and presentation skills.
• Experience involving employees in process improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience in involving employees in process improvement initiatives and either supervisory management or clear potential for supervisory roles.
• Good command of English which is TOEIC 600 up.
• Good attitude.
