Mechanical Process Development Engineer (FMCG/ Food OEM)

Manage and execute the engineering & processing fundamentals and standard through Global innovation as well as development and improvement project by work with All cross functional team in Thai Union group to ensure all new product and process development are comply with all engineering & food processing and global manufacturing standard.

Kewajiban

• Work with expert supplier & vendor in relate subject on new technology development (Processing & equipment) for Thai Union manufacturing.
• Work with cross functional team in TU manufacturing site to translate processing concepts & equipment into technically feasible and relevant process by using information from various process and or operation testing with product.
• Applies new engineering techniques/technologies and work with cross functional team to deliver new products portfolio to achieve business objectives.
• Develop engineering standard and specification to support and improve TU Plant performance, efficiency, safety, sustainability and business strategy goal.
• Technical support in processing technology for new and existing category which TU may invest in the future.
• Deploy new engineering & food processing technology and standard on feasible process and work with upstream/downstream development function i.e. New Product development team to deliver new process with appropriate consumer acceptance.
• Provide expertise of engineer process technology, interactions with other fundamental food science principles such as TD, manufacturing, marketing, purchasing and etc. in order to optimum process engineering design.
• Applies engineering process technologies & food processing experiences and work with cross functional team to deliver new processes portfolio to achieve business objectives.
• Demonstrates ability to scale up new product/packaging in any existing or newly set-up TU Manufacturing site/line through performing industrial trial runs in collaboration with Operations and Quality to test and transition into full commercialization scale.
• Work with other cross function section e.g. Product Development, Marine Ingredient, Life & Science and Pet care teams to generate and translate process concepts into technically feasible and supply relevant process using information from various process testing during all phases of process development to established machine and equipment specification.
• Integrate various unit operations and demonstrate ability to scale up new process in the TU manufacturing lines.
• Utilizes structured process of analysis, design, contingency planning and resolution for process engineering development.
• Delivers all Global innovation development projects within timeline, budget set and helps the company achieve sustainable technology, operations and goals/KPI’s.

Kualifikasi

• Strong knowledge in engineering and food processing standards.
• Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to analyze and design engineering processes.
• Familiarity with global manufacturing standards such as GMP, HACCP, FDA.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record in delivering projects on time and within budget.
