The Sustainability & Safety Manager-Manufacturing is responsible for leading and managing the sustainability and safety initiatives across all manufacturing sites globally. This role ensures compliance with environmental regulations, promotes sustainable practices, and maintains a safe working environment, contributing to the company’s overall sustainability goals.

Kewajiban

• Acts as The Sustainability & Safety Manager-Prachinburi plant
• Develop and Implement Global Sustainability Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive sustainability plans for manufacturing that align with corporate strategies and roadmaps and regulatory requirements.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all manufacturing sites comply with local and international environmental and safety regulations.
• Resource Efficiency: Lead efforts to improve decarbonization, energy efficiency, water conservation, and waste reduction in manufacturing operations.
• Sustainable Practices: Collaborate with engineering, production and other departments to implement sustainable manufacturing practices.
• Supply Chain Management: Work with procurement and supply chain teams to promote sustainable sourcing practices and engage with suppliers to improve their environmental and social practices.
• Safety Management: Develop and enforce global health and safety policies, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with safety standards and behavior based safety.
• Sustainability and Safety Audits: Perform sustainability and safety audits for across all manufacturing sites globally, new and existing suppliers to evaluate their sustainability and safety performance and communicate findings to the sourcing team.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal including Corporate Affairs & Communications departments and external stakeholders to promote sustainability and safety initiatives. Closely collaborate with all manufacturing sites- Sustainability & Safety managers/representatives, responsible for implementing Sustainability and Safety management routines and initiatives and share and implement best practices.
• Data Management and Reporting: Monitor sustainability and safety metrics, compile reports for senior management, and evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives. Ensure development, deployment and on-going monitoring of the key business metrics along with key programs and initiatives and plans to achieve those targets.
• Education and Training: Develop and deliver training programs to foster a culture of sustainability and safety within the organization.
• Project Management: Lead projects aimed at advancing key sustainability and safety goals, including reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving energy and water efficiency.

Kualifikasi

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in sustainability and safety management roles, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
• Skills: Strong organizational, project management, and leadership skills. Excellent knowledge of environmental regulations.
