In Thailand, the company is thailand’s second largest LPG trader and sell LPG under two brands which are “SIAMGAS” and “UNIQUEGAS” the company has three core businesses which are LPG and Petrochemical trading, LPG and Petrochemical transportation, and LPG cylinder and autogas tank manufacturer. For oversea operation, the company sell LPG in bulk and in retail under several brands which are “SGGAS”, “SINGGAS”, and “MYGAZ”.

The Assistant Operations Manager is responsible for managing chartering matters, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring smooth operations within the shipping industry.

Kewajiban

• Contact various ship owners and charterers to negotiate the chartering matters.
• Seek potential customers and keep good relationships with existing customers by finding a suitable vessel and the right business for chartering.
• Coordinate, advise and work with the operation officers to ensure smooth operations (vessel status, condition/maintenance) and solve customer complaints/problems.
• Act as liaison between owners and charterers to settle disputes.
• Consolidate information/data on customers/charterers' needs, including ship specification, service requirements, and chartering costs, to help secure/enhance business opportunities and identify future customers.
• Research, identify and develop existing and potential customer portfolio.
• Visit the vessel once a year to conduct regular cargo stock inspections.
• Maintain up-to-date awareness of market activities and industry trends to create and develop new business opportunities and recommend modifications/changes of strategies/ practices to supervisors.
• Ensure cargo handling and cargo care procedures are implemented by precedent instructions to the ship master with adequate monitoring.
• Appraise the performance of the Master and seniors at specified intervals and give recommendations to Team Manager for bonus and performance rating.
• Make regular calls/visits to maintain and develop professional relationships and follow up on needs with the aim of closing deals and finalizing contracts.
• Handle correspondences and communication via e-mail, and phone with internal and external parties, locally and overseas, and counterparts in other affiliate offices on matters related to chartering business development to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Perform other related duties of a similar type and at a similar level.
• Prepare the shipping schedule per the customer's cargo nomination order.
• Ensure that the vessels, both owned and chartered, are continuously employed and gain the maximum profit for the company and overall market strategy, both Spot/Voyage Charter and Time Charter.
• Regularly send the voyage instructions to all masters of charter ships.
• Support the Chartering team in performance control and reporting.

Kualifikasi

• 5 year experiences in petrochemical industry is a plus.
• Good knowledge in ISO9001:2015.
• Good Responsibility and Learner person.
• Result oriented and attitude thinking.
• Readiness to travel upcountry and abroad.
