We are looking for an analyst to cover the energy sector, including renewable energy, the oil & gas industry, and the petrochemical industry. The research will encompass a wide range of cross-cutting topics, such as (but not limited to) the global energy market, domestic policies, new business models, and emerging technologies. The goal is to help SCB’s internal and external stakeholders understand the fast-changing dynamics of energy transition and climate change. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting compelling narratives based on qualitative and quantitative analysis, highlighting the implications for SCB, Thai businesses, and society.

Kewajiban

• Stay up to date on developments and emerging issues in the energy sector; assess changes or trends, and lead industry analysis to forecast industry outlooks and trends
• Analyze current issues, identify industry implications for stakeholders across the supply chain, and prepare presentation materials for top management
• Assess changes in industry dynamics and provide insightful analysis on successful business models relevant to banking clients
• Support and develop a network of relationships with internal and external stakeholders and resource persons to gather industry intelligence and insightful information
• Write thought-leading articles for publication

Kualifikasi

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, economics, business administration, or other relevant fields
• 3–10 years of work experience in industry research, equity research, consulting, strategy, or other relevant fields
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with strong writing and presentation abilities in both Thai and English
• Proactive, with the ability to take initiative and ownership of assignments
• Strong multitasking skills and the ability to manage parallel developments effectively
