We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for our global automotive assembly facility based in Laemchabang.

Kewajiban

Knowledge responsibilities:
• To guide and control the development of bespoke product with focus on RHD, 4*4 and Electrification.
• To compile standards, procedures, guidelines and check sheets to stream line the development process.
• Key owner and driver of all D-FEMA and DVP activities in the product development team.
• Key Coach for safety related development items like Hazard review, ISO 26262.
• Cross functional development process owner

Functional responsibilities:
• The main function is to design and/or develop mechanical and mechatronic components.
• To analyze and solve problems.
• To ensure components from design will meet requirements, robust, safety, target cost and timing.
• Drive design FMEA compilation and DVP creation with all key stakeholder.
• Execute or direct FEA, ANSYS/SolidWorks.
• Work with different materials from Composite to high strength Steels.
• Compile installation and service requirements.
• Provide skeleton data to compile documentation and user manuals.
• Manage the part/feature change internal and with the end customer.
• Support tender bid information compilation, technical, cost timing and investment.

Kualifikasi

• Bachelor degree in Engineering field, Mechanical, Aeronautic, Automotive or Mechatronic preferred.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills
• Strong Mechanical design understanding
• Capable in performing CATIA or Solid Work software.
• Good Analytical skill especially technical aspects.
• Must be able to work unsupervised, and be flexible in terms of working hours
• Fluent English, Thai is a plus
