The Accounting Associates / Senior Accounting Associates (Cost and Inventories) position involves managing and analyzing cost and inventory data to support financial decision-making and operational efficiency.

Kewajiban

• Verify the accuracy of data recorded for receiving/issuing inventories in each process
• Prepare and analyze monthly cost of goods sold (COGS) reports, identifying trends and variances to budget and forecast
• Calculate and maintain the standard cost of the products
• Work with the operations team to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Collaborate with the purchasing and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of inventory transactions
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accurate inventory counts and minimize shrinkage.
• Provide financial analysis and support for new product launches and other strategic initiatives.
• Support the month-end close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Handling ad-hoc projects by requirement

Kualifikasi

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in cost accounting or inventory control, preferably in a retail business
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of inventory management and control techniques
• Computer literate in Microsoft office and Oracle software is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
