The Assistant Lead of Accounting and Reporting will be responsible for supporting the financial operations with a focus on compliance, regulatory reporting, and consolidation. This role will manage accurate and timely reporting to the Bank of Thailand, coordinate financial consolidation with our parent company, and oversee general accounting activities. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in accounting and be comfortable extracting and analyzing data using tools like Power BI and SQL.
Kewajiban
• Prepare, review, and submit regulatory reports to the Bank of Thailand, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and advise on necessary adjustments to reporting or processes.
• Liaise with internal teams and regulatory bodies to ensure all required information is complete, timely, and compliant.
• Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation process with the parent company, ensuring alignment with group accounting policies and standards.
• Support the preparation and review of the corporate package and other required financial statements for consolidation.
• Coordinate with the parent company’s finance team for intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and adjustments.
• Oversee general accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Implement and maintain accounting controls and best practices to ensure accurate financial records.
• Identify and drive improvements in financial reporting and accounting processes, leveraging technology and automation where possible.
• Utilize data analytics tools, such as Power BI and SQL, to extract, analyze, and interpret financial data for reporting and decision-making.
• Support data-driven insights by developing dashboards and customized reports to monitor key financial metrics and trends.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide data-based insights for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.
Kualifikasi
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in accounting and reporting area, with at least 2 years in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Thai GAAP and IFRS, with experience in Bank of Thailand reporting.
• Familiarity with consolidation processes and intercompany reconciliations in a corporate group environment.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL) is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills in both Thai and English.
