The Sr. Purchasing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and controlling the purchasing process, ensuring it aligns with the organization's goals and policies. They are also in charge of managing documents, negotiating with vendors, and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
Kewajiban
• Oversee and control the purchasing process in each department
• Inspect and evaluate detailed purchase orders
• Ensure purchases align with policies and do not disrupt organizational benefits
• Manage documents and contracts efficiently during the purchasing process
• Act as a representative and coordinate with the organization
• Negotiate with international and local suppliers for quality products
• Conduct price comparisons, negotiate terms, and bargain prices for maximum company benefit
• Verify the accuracy of purchase requests before obtaining approval for purchase orders
• Prepare purchase orders, coordinate and track documents from vendors/suppliers as per internal department requirements
• Inspect product deliveries and confirm product quality with vendors/suppliers
• Verify purchase orders and invoices for accuracy before submitting to the accounting department
• Source new vendors or suppliers and evaluate them according to company standards
• Update and register new vendors or suppliers in the Approved Vendor List (AVL) or Approved Supplier List (ASL) to keep them current
• Prepare purchasing department documents or related sections as assigned
• Support the ISO quality system
Kualifikasi
• Bachelor's degree in Management or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in management, purchasing, or procurement
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• High sense of responsibility, honesty, and integrity
• Resilient, quick learner, and able to handle pressure well
• Good interpersonal skills, communication, and negotiation abilities
• Proficient in document management for purchasing and procurement
• Good English language skills in reading, writing, and communication
• Proficient in Computer, Microsoft Office, and Presentation skills
• Willingness to learn and develop with a growing organization
• Familiarity with EnProduction software is a plus
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
