Kewajiban
• Research, learn, understand and apply biochar production and application knowledge as the basis of developing a new business (training and knowledge resources will be provided).
• Propose, design, execute and manage business plans in collaboration with 350 and NRF colleagues.
• Systematically collect, synthesize and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to develop research and commercial insights and recommendations, including basic financial modelling and budgeting.
• Supervise and audit biochar production and feedstock transportation.
• Contact and collaborate with officer and chief of each farmer community attended in the project.
• Research and implement dMRV application for supervising the project in each step from feedstock to C sink.
• Undertake tasks required for issuing carbon credits and carbon management.
• Design, implement and manage basic agricultural-research projects.
Kualifikasi
• BA/BSc from a reputable university in fields such as agronomy, carbon management, climate change, ecological economics, environmental engineering, sustainable finance or sustainability, MA/MSc preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience will be given special consideration. (In agricultural).
• Curious, honest, trustworthy, self-starter, proactive, highly-motivated and comfortable with ambiguity and working independently and closely with 350 and NRF colleagues.
• Ability to design coherent, logical and systematic methods and models to solve problems.
• Basic understanding of carbon markets, carbon credits, regenerative agriculture, permaculture, agroecology or soil carbon and microbiome will be useful.
• Comfortable speaking and writing Thai for diverse stakeholders, fluent in written and spoken English is a plus but not essential (must be able to read technical documents in English).
• Attention to detail, consistency and intermediate spreadsheet skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop expertise in technical matters and skills, including occasional online courses.
• Willingness to travel upcountry working with diverse rural stakeholders.
