Detail posisi

The Import Officer is responsible for managing the import process, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and maintaining accurate records of shipments.

Kewajiban

• Review and verify shipping documents including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing list, form E, and others.
• Compare for the best freight cost in term of the price with the acceptable supporting service.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers to arrange for timely delivery of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments and ensure that all documentation is filed properly.
• Cooperate with the warehouse and related parties in each process of working.
• Manage any issues that arise during the shipping process, such as customs holds or delays in delivery.
• Trace and track shipments with Air or Ocean liners and overseas branches to ensure smooth operations.
• Responsible for resolving any issues related to import documentation, such as missing or incorrect documentation.
• Issue PO. The part items to support sales team.
• Do the payment approval document (TT, LC) with incoming quality report of the requested pay shipment.
• Summarize the landed cost for finance team each shipment.
• Prepare relate document to submit and dealing with TISI license process.
• Take on additional assignments as required to meet the company’s needs.

Kualifikasi

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Logistics / Economics or any related fields.
• 2-5 years of experience in Import clearance/Import document/Freight forwarder Import/Import Operations.
• Good knowledge of Air or Ocean import procedures / Incoterm.
• Proficient in English communication at a business level or TOEIC test 400 ++.
• Good attitude with oversea suppliers communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, motivation, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Good in Microsoft Office / Strong Analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
• Ensure and follow up smooth clearance service within urgent or limit timelines and accuracy.
• Experience in TISI process and knowledge in Lighting / Electrical system will be an advantage.
