New Product Development
• Define clear value proposition of each New Product Development (NPD), prioritize NPDs based on APAC strategy
• Verify the financials and understand the impact to business cases for each new product request
• Explore new business models or opportunities as part of business development
• Proactively seek solutions by closely monitoring market trends and deeply understanding customers’ perspectives
• Coordinate with country product manager on approval process for new products proposal
• Follow up on new product performance after launch to evaluate the actual result versus target
Product Portfolio Management
• Key member of Pro & Commercial Category, accountable and responsible for driving and growing business results
• Responsible for providing inputs, analysis and creates idea briefs as part of portfolio strategy
• Responsible for supporting and detailed follow-up for Pro & Com product portfolio
• Responsible for end to end NPD implementation and market launch activities (including driving market alignment)
• Responsible for supporting strategic category initiative roll-out, including detailed follow-up
Others
• Work closely with the country and cross functional team to ensure successful process launches
• Follow up on the post-launch feedback and result to check if they meet business targets and be able to analyze and make recommendations when they do not
• Support specific country product requests
• Ad hoc duties as required
Kualifikasi
• Master’s Degree in Marketing, MBA or related field
• At least 6-8 years of proven experiences in trade marketing, product category, and strategic marketing plans in a multinational organization, preferred building material industry experiences.
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills
• Strong Project Management, Planning, and good coordination skills
• Demonstrated Planning, business effectiveness, analysis, negotiation and influencing skills
• Experience in Customer segmentation and behavior, marketing research and Consumer communications.
• Ability to balance strategic and systematic thinking with operational implementation
• A mature and energetic individual who is hands-on and has excellent problem-solving skills
• Have an appreciation of modern design/lifestyle trends
• Strong Leadership, coaching and strategy implementation, interpersonal communications and customer oriented in a must
• Commercial oriented with strong Analytical skill (product, competitor, promotion and market)
• Strong passion in driving the growth and profitability of the category
• Develop a strong level of market/competitors pricing and ensuring competitive price value chain and margin
