Kewajiban

• Be the lead of test laboratory, reporting to Quality Supervisor, in supporting production activities and department goals/KPI’s matrix
• Supervise lab technician/operator, ensuring day-to-day sample preparation & assigned test are being performed according to requirement and plan. Conduct & arrange necessary training & performance/skill evaluation and improvement
• Prepare and machine metallographic specimen in order to perform i.e. hardness testing, tensile testing and etc. for aerospace material such as Nickel, Titanium and Steel
• Be responsible for microscopic analysis of metals and alloys to determine metallurgical properties i.e. crystal structure, homogeneity, and other characteristics in accordance with required specification
• Be responsible for operating & basic daily/period checking/maintenance of lab equipment: Hydrogen Analyzer, Hardness tester, Tensile testing machine, profile projector and calibration instruments
• Analyze operating record and test report, or by personal observation and investigation, determine conformance to established procedures, methods, and standards
• Ensure that laboratory system per requirement of ISO/IEC 17025 were maintain and meet customer standard
• Be responsible for company internal calibration and calibration equipment management

Kualifikasi

• Bachelor degree in Material science (Background in metallography) and/or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in mechanical test i.e. tensile test, hardness test, material test, evaluating microstructures as required by the applicable metallographic standards or 3 years of college coursework in Materials Science, Metallurgy, or a related science field
• Possess the ability to read and interpret document, specification, and instruction, and be able to communicate effectively with customer, headquarter, and fellow employees
• Good knowledge in material property, especially one used for aerospace industry i.e. Nickel, Titanium, and Steel would be an advantage
• Knowledge and experience in ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO9001, ISO/TS16949, AS9100 or related quality management system
• Experience in ERP system: Syteline system
• Experience in calibration & its management software: GAGEtrak is a plus
• Having related machining knowledge such as CNC lathe, drilling, automatic cutting, polishing is a plus
• Having chemical analysis knowledge is a plus
