The Senior Accountant - Fixed Asset Specialist in a manufacturing environment is responsible for managing and overseeing the company’s fixed assets, including machinery, equipment, and facilities. This role involves maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail, with specific experience in the manufacturing sector.
Kewajiban
• Fixed Asset Management: Maintain and update the fixed asset register, ensuring all acquisitions, disposals, and transfers of manufacturing equipment and facilities are accurately recorded.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and review fixed asset schedules for financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and industry-specific regulations.
• Depreciation: Calculate and record depreciation for all fixed assets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and manufacturing industry standards.
• Audit Support: Provide support during internal and external audits, including preparing necessary documentation and responding to audit queries related to manufacturing assets.
• Policy Development: Develop and implement fixed asset policies and procedures tailored to the manufacturing environment to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
• Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of fixed asset accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness, with a focus on manufacturing assets.
