Kuraray GC Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. (KGC) is a Joint Venture between Kuraray Co., Ltd, PTTGC and Sumitomo Corporation. The three companies are co-investing in the project to develop a Performance and Specialty Chemicals Business to manufacture Super Engineering Plastic (High-Heat Resistant Polyamide-9T, or PA9T) and Hydrogenated Styrenic Block Copolymer (HSBC) products in Thailand. Kuraray Co., Ltd has a subsidiary company, Kuraray Advanced Chemicals (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (KAC) which is located in the same area, producing 3-Methyl-1,5-Pentanedial (MPD). KGC and KAC are managed and supervised under same Management team, sharing common Policy, Mission, Vision and Goal.

The Senior Planning Engineer is responsible for developing and managing maintenance plans and schedules, optimizing resource allocation, overseeing contractor activities, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Kewajiban

• Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop detailed maintenance plans and schedules for routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities, considering safety, efficiency, and production requirements.
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to optimize work orders, track progress, and analyze maintenance data.
- Prepare and manage long-term maintenance plans, including annual and turnaround schedules.
- Collaborate with Operations to schedule downtime and minimize production disruptions.
• Resource Management:
- Estimate labor, materials, and equipment requirements for planned maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of necessary resources.
- Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
• Contractor Management:
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of external contractors for specialized maintenance tasks.
- Ensure contractor compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes and procedures.
- Implement best practices in planning and scheduling to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and implement preventive measures.
• Reporting and Communication:
- Prepare regular reports on maintenance activities, progress, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including management, operations, maintenance teams, and contractors.
• Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with safety regulations and company procedures.
- Participate in safety audits and risk assessments.

Kualifikasi

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in planning and scheduling maintenance activities in a petrochemical or similar industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of maintenance best practices, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies.
• Proficient in using CMMS software and other relevant planning tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment with Japanese and Thai colleagues.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
