The Senior Product Development Engineer will lead product development projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of products. This role includes various engineering tasks such as simulations, design, testing, and certification of products to meet industry standards.

Kewajiban

• Collaborate with all stakeholders to review project feasibility and ensure alignment on objectives.
• Work with Product development Manager to plan project schedules and defining key milestones.
• Conduct structural analysis to ensure the reliability and integrity of fan designs.
• Conduct product performance, reliability testing, ensuring results meet established standards.
• Conduct cost analysis to meet the project target.
• Manage product certification processes, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Committing to the product plan and project schedule.
• Prepare all necessary design documentation from the prototyping stage through to mass production.
• Lead root cause analysis and provide corrective actions to resolve technical issues, ensuring continuous improvement in product design and quality.
• Review the quality/accuracy of the test results of the junior engineer, to make sure the correctness of the results.
• Support and solving the technical issue/problem or negotiation issue of the project team member, and make sure the task can be completed per planning.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their development in technical expertise and project management.
• Prepare weekly reports on project progress, highlighting potential risks or delays.
• Research and study to continuously improve product design and performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Kualifikasi

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields; specializations in aerodynamics, material science, or structural engineering are highly desirable.
• 3+ years of experience in product development or relate field.
• Competent knowledge of aerodynamics, mechanical design, and fan performance.
• Competent knowledge of engineering software, e.g. 3D/2D CAD FEA etc.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in guiding teams through product development phases, from concept to launch.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Advanced problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment, managing competing priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in English is an advantage.
