The responsibility and focus will be on ESG strategy and risk management for the bank’s lending portfolio. In this role, you will work closely with sustainable development, underwriting, product, and credit risk teams to drive portfolio decarbonization efforts. Through in-depth understanding of the impact of climate change on industries, impact analysis, and ambitious yet realistic net-zero strategies, you will play a key role in promoting sustainable practices and fostering positive environmental impact.
Kewajiban
ESG Risk Assessment
• Assess the ESG impact of lending and investment activities against internal ESG risk strategy and policy.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of ESG risk management tools and methodologies, defining risk metrics and limits, developing monitoring tools and control processes.
• Develop capabilities to enable and promote sustainable finance such as transition and climate stress-testing, ESG rating, and a sustainable incentive program.
Data Analysis and Reporting
• Collect, analyze, and interpret ESG-related data to support risk assessments and reporting.
• Prepare and maintain accurate reports on ESG risk exposure, trends, and mitigation strategies.
Regulatory Compliance
• Develop and maintain a sustainable finance framework that aligns with Thailand taxonomy, market best practice, and international standards such as Green Loan Principles, Social Bond Principles, Sustainability-Linked Loan Principles.
• Serve as the responsible unit for answering ESG risk-related questions, including disclosing content in the Sustainable Development Report (SD Report).
• Monitor and/or participate in regulatory developments related to ESG and climate risk such as BOT and Basel.
Stakeholder Engagement
• Collaborate with internal teams, including credit risk and investment teams, to integrate ESG factors into decision-making processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the ESG Risk Management function.
Kualifikasi
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance or others with experience in Wholesale commercial banking.
• Strong understanding or an interest in climate change, environmental sustainability, and the financial implications of decarbonization efforts.
• Well-developed judgment in the fields of credit risk management and analysis.
