The Head Bartender is responsible for managing the bar's financial performance, developing new drink menus, overseeing daily operations, training staff, and ensuring high-quality service.
Kewajiban
• Manage the bar’s financial performance including costing and budgeting to maximize profitability
• Handle relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of bar supplies
• Supervise and manage bar staff as well as ensuring efficient and effective operations
• Develop new drink menus including seasonal and special beverages in collaboration with the Head Chef
• Oversee daily preparation and closing of the bar area including stock management, inventory and cleaning duties
• Manage bar service during operating hours, take orders accurately and input them into the point-of-sales system
• Coach and train new bartenders and barbacks according to the training schedule as well as ensuring high standards and proper service methods are maintained
• Ensure all bar employees are equipped with the necessary tools, skills, behavior and knowledge before customer interaction
• Ensure staff have thorough knowledge of the beverages served at the bar
• Work in cooperation with the Head Chef on new product development, menu creation and promotional activities
• Create new bar beverages and shots including seasonal offerings based on customer preferences
• Oversee liquor and bar inventory, order new supplies and organize storage space
• Prepare and serve drink orders for customers as well as ensuring high-quality beverage mixing and service
Kualifikasi
• Proven at least 2 years of experience working as a Head Bartender or in a similar role
• Excellent in written and spoken English communications
• Mastery of all drink compounding techniques
• Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of business management practices and strategies
• Has a background in Hospitality Management, Tourism or in similar field
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Creativity and passion for beverage creation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service
