The IT Engineer is responsible for managing and maintaining IT infrastructure, ensuring information security, overseeing IT helpdesk operations, and participating in digital transformation projects.

Kewajiban

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, networks, telephone systems, VoIP, and video conferencing systems.
• Provide information security guidance and reference in alignment with the Japan HQ standards and requirements.
• Manage the outsourced IT Helpdesk team to ensure project targets are achieved.
• Manage IT-related costs, including expenses and CAPEX (Capital Expenditures).
• Oversee file server backup schedules and ensure disaster recovery plans are in place.
• Oversee IT asset and software management (PC purchases, license management) for both office and plant locations, ensuring preventative maintenance for all IT equipment.
• Participate in the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and standards, including company systems such as IATF16949, ISO14001 and ISO45001.
• Perform regular system updates and patching to ensure all software and hardware are up-to-date, secure, and operating efficiently.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and proactively recommend improvements for IT systems and infrastructure.
• Participate in the planning, execution, and delivery of digital transformation projects, ensuring they are completed on time and meet business requirements.

Kualifikasi

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in IT Engineering, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve user technical issues efficiently.
• Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and using automation tools.
• Strong experience in managing operating systems (Windows Server, Linux) and server administration.
• Good command of English.
