The Production Improvement Engineer is responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency in the manufacturing operations. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role involves analyzing production data, conducting root cause analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions that optimize production processes and reduce costs. The Production Improvement Engineer will play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring the smooth functioning of the production department.

Kewajiban

• Analyze production processes and identify areas for improvement
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency and reduce costs
• Conduct time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks and streamline workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
• Monitor production metrics and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Design and implement quality control measures to ensure product consistency and customer satisfaction
• Identify and implement automation solutions to improve production speed and accuracy
• Train and educate production staff on new processes and technologies
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve production issues and minimize downtime
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve production processes.

Kualifikasi

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in process improvement or production engineering
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies
• Proficient in data analysis and statistical tools such as Minitab or JMP
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
