The Public Relations Specialist is responsible for managing media relations, creating content, planning events, and supporting brand management to enhance the company's visibility and reputation.
Kewajiban
Media Relations:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets.
• Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.
• Coordinate and manage media inquiries and interview requests.
• Monitor media coverage and analyze its impact on the company’s reputation.
Content Creation:
• Write and edit content for press releases, articles, newsletters, and social media posts.
• Develop compelling stories that resonate with target audiences.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
Event Planning and Coordination:
• Assist in the planning and execution of press conferences, media events/interviews, speakerships, and other PR-related activities.
• Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, invitations, and on-site management.
• Ensure events are well-organized and align with the company’s brand image.
Brand Management:
• Support the development and implementation of PR strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
• Monitor public perception of the company and address any issues that may arise.
• Work with the crisis management team to monitor negative publicity and develop response strategies.
Research and Analysis:
• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential PR strategies.
• Analyze the effectiveness of PR campaigns and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Keep up-to-date with industry news and developments to inform PR strategies.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, business development, and product/tech, government relations & corporate affairs, to align PR efforts with company goals.
• Provide support to senior PR staff and assist in mentoring interns.
Kualifikasi
• Study major: Public Relations, Strategic Communications, Marketing Communications
• 3-4 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, marketing communications, or a similar role.
• People-oriented: Naturally a social person with a genuine passion for connecting with people, building relationships, and understanding their needs.
• Able to solve problems effectively and efficiently, particularly in fast-paced and dynamic environments
• Able to work and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in an agency is a plus point.
• Having a strong knowledge of traditional and new media + journalistic is a must.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Indonesian.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Able to communicate well with many levels from the entry-level staff to the executives of the company.
• Experience in crisis management and handling sensitive situations.
• Strong desire to learn along with a professional drive
• Able to work individually or in a team setting
