The Tool Design Engineer (Mold Design) is responsible for mold and tool design/improvement to support in-house production processes, ensuring plant targets are met in terms of output and defects.

Kewajiban

• Mold and Tool design/improvement to support the in-house production processes to achieve plant targets as output and defect.
• Create tooling standards by applying the knowledge learned approach to improve designs and decrease scrap.
• Support production process such as Tools and Mold, Brass casting/Zinc die casting and Automation design.
• Upgrading the department standards/technologies in process, workflow, and data storage.
• Factory layout consolidating and centrally updating.
• 3D drawing/2D drafting of machine spare parts to support maintenance department.
• Initiating new tool design methods/technologies to increase design efficiency and to reduce manufacturing cost of tools.
• Assist senior engineers with the designing and testing of various types of fixtures, die casting Mold, and tools utilized in the production process.
• Work together with cross-functional teams to understand production requirements and provide solutions for die and tool design to improve the production process.
• Supporting and participating in company activities concerning Occupational Safety Health, Environment, Energy, CIP, PDCA, TPM, 5S, etc.

Kualifikasi

• Bachelor’s Degree in Tool and die engineer, Mechanical engineer or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience designing Jig fixtures and HPDC Die design.
• Experience with manufacturing processes such as, CNC, die casting, stamping, assembly, and a good understanding of the costs and schedule and complexity associated with each process.
• Strong to expert 3D CAD/CAM skills, including advanced surfacing. (Preferably using CAD tool Uni graphics NX and Solid Edge)
• Working experience in Casting simulation software (Preferably using Pro Cast).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• SAP or others ERP system experiences/MS Offices.
• Good command of English, conversational and writing skill.
• TOEIC score 500+, It will be an advantage.
• Able to work in Klaeng, Rayong (not have shuttle bus).
