The Senior Buyer will be responsible for identifying sourcing opportunities, managing contract activities, developing relationships with stakeholders and supply partners, analyzing costs and market trends, negotiating pricing, and supporting purchasing initiatives.

Kewajiban

• Identify new sourcing opportunities across markets to maximize value, lower cost, diversify supply, mitigate risks, and aligned with the company's objectives
• Manage all contract activities, including pre-qualification, supplier agreement negotiations, contract preparation, tender management and monitor inventory and balance contract.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders for new / alternative RM approval and ensure compliance to the approval process
• Develop the contingency plan by approving alternative supplier and material
• Develop strong relationships with business stakeholders and strategic supply partners to improve business outcomes
• Purchasing representative/lead on several cross functional projects
• Monitor commodities regularly and issue market outlook update for internal & external customers
• Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate disruptions, including geopolitical and regulatory challenges
• Analyze costs, pricing trends, and market dynamics to identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining product quality and service levels
• Negotiate and maintain pricing for raw materials and packaging in system as well as update Forecast cost expectation quarterly
• Develop budget material cost forecast and manage variance
• Look for opportunities to grow certified sustainable volumes and work in collaboration to leverage internal resources
• Improve suppliers' sustainability performance to meet company objectives
• Develop strong category strategy
• Work with QA to drive quality improvements with suppliers
• Coordinate with contract manufacturer for pricing, RM's approval and evaluation
• Support team and trouble shoot issues i.e. shortage, quality, urgent order etc. to ensure customer satisfaction
• Prepare information for Quota applications
• Generate regular reports on purchasing metrics, supplier performance, cost savings, and other relevant KPIs to support management reporting
• Look for possibilities to leverage IT for process improvement
• Actively support Global Purchasing initiatives and participate in Global purchasing call monthly
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Self-motivated, ability to work effectively under high pressure and navigate through ambiguity to find answers and ability to make solid judgement and good decisions
• Be able to demonstrate capability to deliver initiatives on time
• Be effective in collaborating with cross-functional teams and meet agreed performance metrics
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills, able to analyze and challenge independently
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders across the business
• Knowledge of ERP system
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, and computer literacy
