Detail posisi

The cost accountant position is responsible for the costing functions, including preparation of cost estimates of new or special products for establishing selling prices and production forecasts.

Kewajiban

• Managing all areas related to costing functions;
• Prepare and Reconcile the monthly of Journal entry analysis;
• Verify the month-end of Costing and Inventory;
• Maintain cost accounting system;
• Assist in month end close;
• Support SOX, TAX and legal;
• Conduct physical inventories and monitors cycle count program;
• Handling ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Accountability #1: Cost Reporting and Analysis
• Handle day to day operations and standard cost analysis
• Ensure costing calculations, man/machine hrs, through put calculations and Bottleneck costing are accurate
• Own Cost Accounting related to Statutory/Cost Audit/ and Transfer pricing
• Ensure Month end closing work related to plant and costing is completed within required timelines

Accountability #2: Process/Performance
• Implement measures to ensure accurate standard costs in the system
• Monitor inventory transactions
• Support new product cost setup and testing
• Be able to enhance the costing process to support business needs

Accountability #3: People
• Be able to lead project from finance perspective to drive improvement in operation efficiency and cost

Kualifikasi

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
• Good understanding of financial, statutory reporting standard both Thai and US GAAP, forecasting and budgeting.
• Adaptation to new and changing technology and environment.
• Ability to read and interpret accounting rules and guidance.
• Strong experience in financial analysis and management reporting.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Self-motivated with strong problem solving skills.
• Good attitude and team player, responsible, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Experience in manufacturing environment.
• Be able to work under pressure and meet required deadlines.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Excellent in MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
