• Develop and implement sustainability strategies and plans for construction projects.
• Set project-specific sustainability goals in alignment with LEED and other green building standards.
• Lead sustainability initiatives throughout the project lifecycle, from planning and design to construction and operation.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to integrate sustainability practices into project designs and operations.
• Manage the LEED certification process, including documentation, application, and submission.
• Obtain green building certifications for all construction projects.
• Identify opportunities for additional green building certifications (e.g., WELL, GREEN) and manage the certification processes.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments and sustainability audits.
• Ensure projects comply with local, national, and international sustainability regulations and standards.
• Provide training and guidance to project teams and stakeholders on sustainability practices and LEED requirements.
• Develop educational materials and resources to promote sustainability awareness within the organization.
• Prepare and maintain detailed reports on project sustainability performance and progress.
• Document sustainability achievements and lessons learned for internal and external communication.
• Engage with clients, community groups, and regulatory bodies to promote the company's sustainability initiatives.
• Represent the company in sustainability forums, conferences, and industry events.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in sustainability and green building practices.
• Identify and implement innovative sustainability solutions and best practices to enhance project outcomes.
• Taking on any additional responsibilities assigned by the line manager.
Kualifikasi
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in sustainability management within the construction or property development industry.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of LEED certification processes and other green building standards (e.g., Edge, GREEN, WELL).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
