The Technical Support Engineer is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining telecommunication hardware, software, and networks, while providing technical support to staff and clients.

Kewajiban

• Understand or be willing to learn how to install and configure telecommunication hardware, software, and networks (Such as OLT, ONU, TCP/IP, LAN, WAN and NMS).
• Continuously monitor and maintain systems and networks.
• Respond to technical support calls from staff members or clients, and provide clear communication on how to resolve issues.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system and network problems, software faults, or hardware complications.
• Support or occasionally provide on-site assistance for the roll-out of new installations, upgrades, replacements, dismantling, or maintenance of sites.
• Keep detailed records of issues and their solutions for future reference.

Kualifikasi

• Educational Background: - Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication, Network Engineering, or a related field. - New graduates are welcome; relevant internships or coursework will be considered a plus.
• Technical Skills: - Basic knowledge of telecommunication network infrastructure, including installation and configuration of OLT, ONU, and NMS, or a willingness to learn. - Understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN), with an ability to troubleshoot basic system and network issues. - Familiarity with telecommunication hardware and software, and network monitoring tools is an advantage but not required.
• Problem-solving Skills: - Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a focus on delivering solutions. - Ability to learn troubleshooting techniques for software, hardware, and network issues.
• Communication Skills: - Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and assist clients or colleagues. - Ability to communicate in basic English.
• Physical Requirements: - Willingness to provide on-site assistance for installations, upgrades, maintenance, and dismantling as needed. - Ability to work in different environments, including outdoor or industrial settings.
• Adaptability: - Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving systems and processes in the telecommunication field.
• Teamwork: - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and support colleagues in resolving technical challenges.
