The NPI Components Manager is responsible for managing the procurement, planning, and coordination of components for new product introduction (NPI) projects, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for production to support a seamless product launch.

Kewajiban

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely availability of materials for prototype builds and pre-production.
• Collaborate with Inbound & Material Planning Department to ensure that they can meet the demands and timelines of NPI projects.
• Work closely with Inbound & Material Planning Department to resolve issues related to quality, lead time, and cost during the NPI phase.
• Develop material requirement plans based on project schedules and forecasts.
• Partner with R&D, engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure seamless communication regarding component requirements.
• Provide feedback to the design team regarding availability of components.
• Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain, particularly related to long lead times, component shortages, or single-source dependencies.
• Develop contingency plans to address potential supply disruptions during NPI projects.
• Track and report on component availability, lead times, and supplier performance throughout the NPI lifecycle.
• Provide regular updates to management regarding project status, risks, and material availability.
• Identify areas for improvement in material planning, procurement, and supplier management processes.
• Implement best practices to streamline component management during NPI phases.

Kualifikasi

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business Administration. Master's Degree is an advantage.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, material planning or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, material planning, and inventory management.
• Experience in NPI processes and working with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with engineering change orders (ECOs) and bill of materials (BOM) management.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience managing supplier relationships.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and advanced in Micro.
