A separate department has been established to offer global and local key accounts a 'one-stop shopping' service. The General Manager, Business Development is responsible for developing new business opportunities for warehousing services through strategic sales initiatives, analyzing market trends, building customer relationships, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with the operations team to ensure customer satisfaction.

Kewajiban

• Develop new business opportunities for warehousing services through strategic sales initiatives.
• Analyze market trends and customer needs to develop tailored warehousing solutions.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
• Collaborate with the warehouse operations team to ensure customer satisfaction and service excellence.
• Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales pipeline.
• To generate sales target in landing new business by attending joint sales visits & review RFP/RFQ/RFI/Tenders.
• To collaborate with key account managers to identify new business and grow relationships and revenue generation.
• To develop co-created solutions with customers to enhance offering and competitiveness.
• To drive customer attraction and retention strategy to improve on customer loyalty.
• To collaborate with others from diverse backgrounds to identify problems and find solutions.
• To verify of completed and correct of rate offering and conditions including RFQ, SOP, AQP submission.
• To prepare, lead and assist project implementation for new customers and contracts. Project determinant, Guideline, Planning, Implementation and Project Management.
• To monitor and Review sales performance metrics to enhance sales outcomes.
• To prepare detailed resource /cost models, written documents, and PowerPoint presentations.
• To prepare and share marketing / product related materials with steak holder internal organization.
• To review and update quotation with the current or market price to the customer.
• To lead and develop a business development team.
• To support continuous learning and development of team members.
• To perform other duties as assigned by MD.

• Basic knowledge and understanding SAP
