At DB Schenker, you are part of a global logistics network that connects the world. We are searching for an Account Manager with a track record in sales and account management, knowledge about the network of DB Schenker and our products, and the ability to solve complex tasks around the existing and future business of the customers.
Kewajiban
• In charge of managing and developing the relationships and the business with assigned accounts in the region.
• Responsible for revenue and volume growth of the accounts across all products of DB Schenker, based on very professional interaction with the senior management on customer side.
• Understand the opportunities with the accounts and prepare annual planning for the budget.
• Manage the Accounts Receivables of the customers.
• Ensure that operational challenges are solved, so that DB Schenker is perceived as reliable global player both in regard to physical flow of goods and flow of information.
• Ensure that operational setups like control towers, EDI connections and data reports are designed in the most efficient way.
• Run MBRs and QBRs with the customers by aligning the internal stakeholders properly.
• Support the implementation of new business in Air, Ocean, Land and Contract Logistics.
• Cooperate intensely with Corporate Account Managers to ensure strong and permanent alignment on business opportunities, operational processes, and communication towards the customers.
Kualifikasi
• Experience with the Chinese culture preferred.
• Strong strategic vision is required to establish account strategy and direction, including developing a target picture for future business with the account, developing strategies and actions required to achieve the targets.
• Exceptional relationship management & communication skills to enable planning & budgeting, organizing & staffing, controlling & problem-solving Proactive behavior towards the customers and internal stakeholders.
• Project management experience beneficial.
• Financial and process analytical skills desirable.
• Ability to work effectively in a customer driven deadline environment.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional, matrix & virtual environment.
• Minimum 3 years experience in the logistics industry and in a sales environment.
• Knowledge and understanding of international logistics operations across multiple modes.
• The position requires travel, domestically and mostly internationally, inter-cultural competence & global thinking.
• Language skills – fluency in English (written and spoken), Mandarin very beneficial.
