The Freight Procurement position involves leading both Air and Ocean procurement teams to support sales development through effective product management and strategic partnerships.

Kewajiban

Lead both Air and Ocean procurement team and SUPPORT the sales development through the best Ocean product management.
Airfreight
• Working closely with Head of Airfreight Procurement in HO.
• Select, cultivate, and develop strategic partnership with airlines and co-loaders.
• Ensure we always secure the space at the most competitive rates.
• Support local & oversea business to secure best possible rate for tenders.
• Design and promote Airfreight Product with Overseas Counterparts and Local Sales Team.
• Work with Sales team to provide and promote necessary details, costing and SOP to enable Sales Team to offer competitive rate and service to increase export volume.
• Sharing Airfreight Market trend monthly.
Ocean Freight
• Will support local business development with the most competitive ocean procurement.
• Select, cultivate, and develop strategic partnership with carriers and co-loaders.
• Vendor relationship mapping and management to ensure we always secure the space at the most competitive rates.
• To develop ocean products through “best forecast” by working closely with Sales Team and Operations Team, for both local and routed business development.
• To lead and coordinate ocean bidding on key accounts, assist Local Sales & and overseas network to secure best possible rates for tenders.
• Will define, in accordance with Sales Manager/Branch Manager, the best Ocean strategy, identifying potential opportunities and risks with carriers/co-loaders, market trends, etc.

Kualifikasi

What we're looking for
• Proven 5 years' relevant experience in Freight Forwarding industry.
• Sound understanding and knowledge of Freight Forwarding industry.
• Resourceful – good connection with shipping line, LCL and etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Can partner with sales team well to achieve team goals.
• Good command of written and spoken English; French speaking would be a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics and supply chains or related field.
