Later in 1977, Mr. Pichai and Mrs. Chamnian Petchraphirat saw the opportunity of the growth of the Thai economy where the industrial sector used trucks to transport various goods more. Therefore, they thought of expanding their new business into the truck business and were appointed as the official distributor of Hino trucks in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province under the name of Chai Ratchakan Limited Partnership (Kuay Mong Kee).
