The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing project bids, and fostering customer relationships to contribute to the company's growth.
Kewajiban
• Responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for the company's multi-products and multi-country region.
• Secure medium-sized contracts (up to US$30MM) of increasing complexity and scope.
• Manage multiple project bids simultaneously.
• Contribute to the Regional Business Plan by delivering year-over-year new awards of up to US$30MM.
• Screen new opportunities for bidding consideration.
• Identify and mitigate the risks involved with commercial terms and conditions, contract structure, and pricing.
• Interface with the Legal and Finance Departments as appropriate.
• Foster and develop positive customer relationships.
• Listen to customer needs and assist in the development of project solutions that satisfy those requirements and provide opportunities for the company.
• Interface with clients on all project/opportunity correspondence.
• Actively seek to increase the number and quality of contacts among customers and other market influencers at a management level.
• Identify and/or develop new product and market opportunities through early involvement in the prospective project's selling cycle.
• Utilize industry and customer contacts to influence project requirements to satisfy the customer and positively position the company.
• Identify and develop partnering opportunities to maintain win-win customer relationships.
• Ensure effective teaming with all stakeholders in the bid process, including estimating, proposals, legal, finance, tax, or other functions.
• Provide direction to bid teams in reaching key decisions.
• Establish and obtain approval for pre-contract efforts, and manage costs and proposal development with the team.
• Manage all opportunity Gate review processes and obtain management approval as required.
Kualifikasi
• Knowledge of the company's fabrication products and markets.
• Good understanding of the Oil & Gas, Energy, and Construction industry practices and requirements.
• Experience in leading proposals for Fabrication and EPC work.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Mentally agile and able to multi-task and manage tight deadlines.
• Proven negotiating ability with high emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated business partnering skills with the ability to influence the organization.
• Adaptability and agility to learn and contribute in varying and complex environments.
• A mature business and technical acumen coupled with a drive to achieve results.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal in English.
• Ability to work and build credibility across the business, up to and including senior management level.
• Proactive embrace and promotion of the company's values and culture, including diversity & inclusion and a healthy and safe work environment.
• 7-10 years of experience since obtaining a first degree, with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales.
