BASF Coatings (EC) is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Chinese-Thai Interpreter for a 4-month contract in Thailand. The role involves facilitating communication between Chinese-speaking customers and Thai-speaking team members.

Kewajiban

• Serve as an interpreter, facilitating communication between Chinese-speaking customers and Thai-speaking team members at the work site.
• Accurately and clearly translate spoken and written information between both parties.
• Translate documents from Chinese to Thai and/or from Thai to Chinese as needed.
• Assist customers or team members in resolving any communication issues between Chinese and Thai or address any inquiries that arise during the work process.
• Report any important issues or communications to the Technical Operations Manager or Sales Manager as necessary.

Kualifikasi

• Bachelor’s in Chinese language.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written Thai and Chinese (Mandarin) at a good level.
• Experience in translation work or in an environment requiring communication in both Chinese and Thai is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in dynamic environments that may change frequently.
• Familiarity with technical terminology in fields such as technology, engineering, or manufacturing is a significant advantage.
