We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Case Management Leader to join our team in the APAC region. As a Case Management Leader, you will lead the management of complex clinical cases within the APAC region with the double objective of improving the patient’s journey and enhancing the cost-effectiveness of the treatment plans.

Kewajiban

• Manage the case management team and monitor their performance.
• Take ownership of the case management process, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each complex ongoing medical case.
• Develop innovative and effective action plans to achieve the dual mandate stated in the mission of this role.
• Monitor cost savings and use data supported analysis to propose new strategies to foster additional savings.
• Focus on customer experience and provide clear and transparent explanations to members. Engage with members regarding their healthcare situations, providing guidance and discussing alternative treatments, suggesting alternatives, and facilitating second medical opinions when necessary.
• Prepare well-structured and concise case summaries as part of the escalation process, ensuring all relevant information is included.
• Oversee and coordinate the various teams involved in the case management process, including the LOG and Medical teams.
• Organize regular case study sessions to enhance teamwork, communication, and collaboration among team members. Foster a supportive and collaborative work environment.
• Anticipate future costs and take action to prevent recurrence or complication of chronic diseases. Apply strategic thinking to optimize treatment plans and patient outcomes.
• Work closely with the Regional Head of Medical to apply the defined strategy and objectives, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Kualifikasi

• Medical background or ability to challenge medical decisions based on experience.
• Successful experience in insurance or assistance sector would be a plus.
• Being structured and detail-orientated.
• Proven experience in developing effective solutions to challenges, utilizing both logical reasoning and creative approaches to overcome obstacles.
• Confident to challenge a decision and provide argumentation to support it.
• Experience in negotiating costs effectively to achieve favourable outcomes.
• Capacity to work under limited supervision and to take the initiative.
• Excellent written and communication skills with the ability to communicate ideas and opinions with confidence.
• Fluent in English.
